Coffee from the neon side of dawn.

Hand-roasted single origins, mixed like a midnight set. We chase brightness, body, and the kind of sweetness that lingers after the lights come up.

// 02 — Story

We started in a basement with one roaster, two turntables, and a working theory: great coffee is a frequency.

Aurora began as a Friday-night ritual. The roaster spun, the records spun, and the neighborhood started showing up for both. Six years later we're still pulling shots to the same playlist, just on better speakers.

Every lot is sourced direct from producers we visit at least once a year. We pay published transparency reports, never anonymous "blends," and we name the farm on every bag.

  • 01 Direct trade, named producers, paid above FOB
  • 02 Roasted to order every Friday under the neon
  • 03 Lot card, brew guide, and a song in every box
// 03 — The Ritual

Four steps. One playlist. Every morning.

  1. 01

    Tune in

    Pick a record. Or don't. We'll send a recommended track on every lot card to set the room before the first pour.

  2. 02

    Grind fresh

    Whole bean only. Medium-coarse for filter, fine for espresso. The bag tells you, the bag never lies.

  3. 03

    Slow pour

    Bloom 45s with double the weight in water. Then pour in three pulses. Total brew 3:30 - 4:00.

  4. 04

    Sit with it

    Let it cool two minutes. The fruit shows up after the heat fades. That's where the disco lives.

// 04 — Field Notes
“The best espresso I've had this year — a kind of bright, unbothered sweetness that tastes like the moment the lights come up and you don't want the night to end.”
