Autumn / Winter Field Catalog 24 10 pieces in rotation

Built for the quiet hours above the tree line.

Aurora outfits long approaches and slow mornings — a tightly edited selection of expedition shells, sleep systems, and the kind of small objects you reach for without thinking.

Our standard

One honest piece is worth a closet of almost-rights.

Every object in this catalog has been carried through a season we wouldn't wish on equipment we didn't trust. We pick by what comes back unbroken, not what looks loudest in a lookbook.

The standard is simple. A shell should keep you dry through a five-hour storm. A pack should ride the same on hour fourteen as hour one. A mug should survive a drop onto granite and still pour straight.

If it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't get listed. If it stops meeting the standard, it gets pulled. We'd rather sell you nothing than sell you something you have to replace next season.

The full kit.

Everything currently in rotation — shells, packs, sleep systems, and the small things that make a long day feel shorter. Edited tight, restocked slow.

Dispatch № 14 — Cascade Traverse

Six days, one shell, no complaints.

We sent the new shells out for a ridge traverse in the North Cascades — three storms, two bivouacs, one navigational error we'd rather not discuss. Everything came back wearable.

Full field notes, gear lists, and the route map land in the dispatch next week. Subscribe at the bottom of the page and we'll send it the moment it's ready.

Tested where it matters, not where it markets.

We don't run a lab. We run trips. Every season's catalog is the residue of routes we actually walked — Olympic rainforest, Wind River granite, the long quiet plateaus north of the divide.

Gear earns its place on the page. Nothing here is sponsored, seeded, or sent in by a brand rep hoping for a placement. Aurora pays full wholesale for every piece we list.

That's why the catalog is small. It's also why nothing on it is filler.
